Maris Jurevics is an experienced management consultant, with professional experience both as an external and internal consultant. Prior to founding Gravity Works, Maris was a management consultant with IBM’s Strategy & Change team where Maris worked with clients from Fortune 100 companies to help them transform their organizations through the design and implementation of strategy, process, organization, and management systems. Maris worked extensively with executives from IBM’s Sales & Distribution organization in support of projects that realigned IBM’s sales coverage model, revamped the sales management system and leveraged the sales force to identify and focus on high growth areas. Maris started his consulting career at Citibank where he worked in the Cash Management business, developing and deploying a Sales Force Automation system and leading other process improvement efforts.
Specific areas of expertise include:
Organizational Change Consulting – Identify and develop the overall change management strategy to support large scale technology and/or process changes in an enterprise. Elements of the change strategy typically include training, communications, stakeholder management, performance measurement and project management.
Business Process Consulting – Develop processes to maximize investments in new technologies. Review and revise existing processes to realize greater operating efficiencies.
Strategic Planning – Develop a strategic framework to define the overall vision, mission, objectives for the client organization and the measures by which to gauge success. The scope of this work can include a high-level project plan to provide the client team with a roadmap of next steps.
Meeting Facilitation – Maris is a skilled meeting facilitator, experienced in helping client teams better collaborate and achieve their meeting goals.
